Well tonight is it. After 8.5 years at my job I put in my notice 2 weeks ago and am now working my last nightshift, hopefully for a long time. The last two weeks have been very different in the fact that you feel like you won the lottery. That can't really force you to do anything because it's not like you can get fired. Anyway, I guess I will just sit back and enjoy my last few hours of the night. Next week I have to start performing at work again! |

Congratulation's, always a good felling knowing you can say "F you" and walk on. Not to burn bridges or anything, but still a good feeling inside. |

hehe, I know how your feeling. I was working for Holsum bakery in Phoenix, AZ last summer, third shift. I gave my notice because my previous employer made an offer I couldn't refuse. Move to Albuquerque, NM. More money, cooler temps, and a company vehicle. On my last night at work, I rolled my city-x into the maintainence bay, and proceeded to detail it for a couple of hours. |

I can tell you that getting back to sleeping at night can be hell. Good luck with that. I did it about 3 months ago and it was the worst week of my life. |
