I found that on a french website. They used V-Twin, have the oil in the swingarm, and the streetfighter version look like a XB12S with is 2 spot, windscreen, exhaust under the bike and very small tail section. They are prototype and they will use Voxan or Aprilia RSV 1000 engine. http://www.leblogmoto.com/2005/10/boxer_ssr_1000.html

Yes the exhaust is very nice. I also like the handlebar, clip-on over the triple clamp, look good. |

Looks like some kind of data screen on the dash board. A very sexy machine to say the least. The best thing to come out of France since Bridget Bardot!} |

It doesn't do anything for me. It's a little too "styled". What's the advantage of having 1/4" thick aluminum exhaust pipes? |

The only problem with a French Streetfighter is that when you get it up to the line, it coughs up a little cheese and gives up. |

"the French are not a race." True, and they can't even win their "own" race, the Tour de Lance! |

BTW-I like the naked version of this bike. Hope it runs better than the last Renaults to grace our American shores. Remember the "Le Car" |

My first car was a LEE-Car. (don't ask, my dad set me up with it for cheap, I always knew he hated me) Quelle enorme merde. When it tried for a final surrender one brisk February evening, I just smashed out all the windows and reported it stolen. Shoulda set fire to it while I was at it. |

I don't think the Taliban have a holiday this time of year. And if they did, I would send them one of these season's greetings: So how about them apples? |

Remember who trained and organized the Taliban. (hint: it wasn't the french) and, actually, the descendants of the gallic tribes can be construed as a 'race'. i remember the 'le car', as well as I remember the chevy vega and the amc matador. remember the peugot 505? |

I watched an interesting Discovery show about this very topic a few days ago. The reason the Soviets gave for the invasion was to take out the terrorist-supporting government that had just three months prior, overthrown the Marxist government (installed by the Soviets of course). They said they had evidence that a terrorist attack within the Soviet Union had been carried out by Afghans at the direction of their new government. Obviously the Soviets had political and economic reasons for the invasion, but the terrorist attack was the impetus. |

An interesting side note... The Islamic government came to power after the citizens of Afghanistan became outraged over the Soviet policies concerning women. Apparently, the Soviets were teaching women how to read. |
