Holy Crap! I've suddenly realized I spent waaaay too much time in front of the tube as a kid. I was a cartoon junky. Some of the ones I remember:

Space Ghost


I've NEVER met anyone else who remembers watching the goofy spy Cool McCool


How 'bout the ol' Captain Kangaroo Show? Not a cartoon, but I recall watching it alot. I remember tuning in when it when it was still in black and white.

I have very vague pre-school memories of that underwater puppet show. I haven't seen or heard mention of it since around 1967.

I loved the Captain. I can recall the beginning of the show where he unlocks all the locks. I also remember thinking what a smartass Mr Moose was.

Remember the crude blackboard cartoon, "The Adventures of Tom Terrific" that was featured on the show? The kid had an oil spout for a hat.
