Going to use the money to replenish the bank account, x-mass is pretty tight this year so its time to build things back up again. Would love to have the 70-200 f/4 L. I currently have the EF 28-200mm 3.5-5.6 that I am very happy with. One day I will have the "L" glass but I would have to wait and sell off our youngest! |

I'm still pretty new to my 300D Digital Rebel and have only used the 18-55mm EF-S lens it came with. From what I've read about the 1.6x cropping factor that lens would be like a 27-88mm lens for a 35mm film camera. When you use a EF (not EF-S) lens on a digital, the same factor applies, right? And does the autofocus and and everything else work right? I thought it was bad agonizing over all the lens choices when I bought my first 35mm SLR in the 60's, the digitals are doing the same thing to me again. Jack |

Yep, works just fine, there is a much larger range of lenses to choose from and higher quality glass then what is currently availalbe in the EF-S line. |

thanks fer the gunsmithing lessons, gents! I'm sure the 1911 DOES do the same thing -- but I couldn't hit my foot with one of those things -- traded a wing-wiper for his .38 back in the day -- could hit much with IT either, but I could throw it more accuratly odd to be a passable shot with a long gun, and a source of dirision and humor with a handgun -- but I digress |

Heres some of my favorite equipment...The 20-35 is an excellent wide lens , but the 20mm is my best fixed. The 100-400 L lens has Image Stabilization and isn't too bulky... |

I like those 8.00 disposable cameras Just kidding! Kandie got me a digital camera last year and I really like it. I have a bunch of pictures of this years hunting season on it right now. After season is over I'll have Comp Todd put them all in one place for me. Someday maybe I'll even learn how to do more than take the picture with it. |

I've got 2 pictures of the knife Bomber made and gave to me a few years ago. One is "before" with the knife, nice and clean is sitting on top of the doe I am about to field dress. The next one is the "after" where the knife is nice and well, used looking! Thanks again for the knife Bomber, I never go in the woods without it. I have one of my hunting partners garage with 6 deer hanging in it. A couple of Jason, another hunting partner with the 2 he shot from the same stand about 2 minutes apart. Not sure if I should or would post them on Badweb. If you remind me I could email them to you when I get them off the camera. |

I think your deer sprung a leak. I would bring it in for service soon if I were you. |
