Never had one- but a visor decal for the top of the visor- the kind like Sunblocker makes (1" or so) with your store logo might be an idea. I think Buell even did it with the "Pull Some G's" Theme.
Just a thought.

shop towels with the store logo and name, so every time somebody checks their oil they will see your name....but im not sure if thats good or bad.

For their grand opening, a bike shop here in Eastern NC gave out little sand-cast rectangles of Aluminum with the shops name, logo and contact info cast into them. Oh yeah, they function as sidestand plates. Pretty cool promo I thought.

Rageonthedl has the best idea, shop rags.
That church in Huellet, Wy gives em out at the hog roast during Stugis Bike Week. Use em all the time.

I don't know...myself, I am fairly picky about the hats I wear. I like the idea of T-shirts, everyone can always use ANOTHER ONE. I gotta agree with 1313 here...if you really want people to remember your opening it's gotta be something that stands apart from the crowd.

But also, I have never opened a store...so I could just be talking outta my...you know what.

Just rambling. Good luck with your opening...If it was closer, I would be there.

I think more details about your shop would be helpful regarding promos.
