Hi all Today the local shop, had their toys for tots ride and BBQ Lunch, turnout was awesome! I spent some time looking about and could not find another Buell, I would have guessed that the turnout was about 500+ bikes. We stretched down Market street for 1/3 mile or better. I can't figure it out the local store, seems to sell 1 or 2 buells a month, mebe more I wonder where they are going, fyi they are affiliated with the Jacksonville NC store on 17 any way had a good ride (parade through town) it was 70 degrees and sunny with moderate wind. Beu- ti-mus! |

I was at the Toys run in Columbus, Georgia yesterday. Turn out was 600+ bikes (down from almost a 1000 two years ago). It was real easy to find my bike in the sea of Harleys and sportbikes. Only 2 Buells showed up, my tuber and an XBS. This is definitely the last time I ride in the parade, though. Too many people with different skill levels all riding together makes it dangerous. There was one pretty bad spill right in front of me. All the rubbernecking made the accident more dangerous than it should have been. |

I rode in one poker run a few years back and that will be my last ride of that type. |

Dj in the 2 years that I have ridden I have not seen any spills,[ lucky me, soo far ]I'm not sure of the turn out here, We have good police support, no cars in collum light crossings are blocked the 4 turns that are made every one slows down, about 13 miles in all, getting us all out and in took about 1 hour you remember that link that came here about the big wreck in Russia, oooooh that was ugly, |
