i think that 62201 part number is for the smaller tank. I really think that Buell made on of the best looking tanks with the mantaray style. |

Checked the Parts Manual for '98 S1s. White Lightning (manta ray) Tank: Ice White Pearl - 62203-98YYN (current # P1110.BYN) Primer - 62203-98Y (current # P1110.BPMD) Hope that helps... HellBuelly J |

I bet that the 62204 is the same tank just for the fuel injected 1999 s3. Makes sense that they would just increase by one digit. from 66203 carbed to 66204 fuel injection BTW I assume that all fuel caps are the same? and you the x1 fuel pump fit inside the 1999+ S3 fuel tank? my guess is Buell is a smart man and would have used the same fuel pump for both the x1 and s3's....?? Are you looking for a manta tank? I've got one for a 1999 M2 (non fuel injected) in Royal Metalic Blue. Brand new. All fuel caps are interchangable. I had a 1995 S2 and the 1997 cap fit it. I would also guess the fuel pumps are the same for both X1 and S3. |
