We, a group of seniors at Homestead High School have been partnered with Buell for a product development class. We have put together a survey to help with the design of a new product for the Buell Ulysses. The survey is posted at http://surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=604411482030 . It should take no longer than 10 minutes and as motorcycle enthusiast your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

Done. But what a crapy survey. Didn't they talk to any riders before they designed this survey? |

What's a "detachable backpack"? I'll finish the survey when I understand the idea. (Message edited by natexlh1000 on November 27, 2005) |

Done. An excellent way to incorporate Homestead students into the world of concept, design, and manufacture. I can think of no better environment than Buell with its dedication of purpose and design ethic to immerse their fresh talents in. |

Done. Neat idea that is already being done by those of us with Ventura Bags. A waterproofed version would be an improvement. |

Items accessible "while" riding? Eh? and the three options? coffee mug, water bottle, first aid kit? While riding? How about a Camelback type bladder system instead of a bottle holder? Much easier to use while riding with a full-face helmet on. And I'll stop first if I need to use a first aid kit, kind of hard to put on a bandaid while motoring down the road at speed. And to think I drove past Homestead at least five times this weekend and didn't see one Uly in the parking lot. 14. How about two straps with a handle? I can still use just one strap if I want to. 20. e. Under $50 please. |

I feel like a monkey. That has taken a survey! I think it's great that BMC is incolving high school kids in this survey. What a cool project. Does anyone know if Buell sponsers internships, etc? Rob |
