We have just succeeded in getting a new race series started in England using the FUSA Thunderbike rules as a base The series will be over 14 rounds in 2006 and we already have some serious interest from lots of teams, mostly with Buell or SV650's, but also from Bimota, who want to run a factory Tesi, and Vyrus with their version of the same bike. We will of course be building a Buell to compete with, and will keep you informed of our progress. The series will kick off on 25/26 March next year at Snetterton, and will visit Brands Hatch, Mallory Park, Lydden and Croix (France), ending on 28/29 October 2006. I'm like a kid at Christmas now and can't wait! |

Matt, I am curious, has Buell posted any contingency monies?? Will it be HP ruled like ours? Johnny D |

Hi Johnny, No contingency or prize money from anyone at the moment, although I am pestering Buell to sponsor the whole series, and they are looking at it quite favourably I think. The series will follow the same rules as your FUSA series, so will have the 1bhp/4lbs ruling applied. This hasn't been particularly popular with a lot of the Ducati based people, but you can't please everybody all the time |

It would be great if Buell would pitch in. Good luck Matt. |
