Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I just read about it in a recent edition of Motorcyclist. If this thing makes it to production, I would seriously consider it. http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photos/prototype-spy-concept/Yamaha-2006-MT-OS.ht m |

I think I saw that in this month's Cycle World. I agree, that is an awesome looking bike. I can only imagine what that would cost though. |

Love this bike. Check my profile, you'll see why. Very Mad Maxish. Dig the rear tire. |

Well, since it's a Yamaha, I'm sure Motorcyclist loved it. Funny since it's obviously a huge rip-off of Buell styling, and it's an air-cooled V-Twin. Hmm... Where have I seen those before?? Motorcyclist sucks. |

Trying to upstage our Buell's, Yamaha did a credible job with some inovations we need, like better computer for the fuel injection and ignition but copied many others we already have like rpm tuned exhaust. Engine seems strong but 5500 rpm redline is too low and weight at 520 lbs dry would seem to negate any engine strengths. I personally don't especially care for their styling, too many "things going on". Not "clean". I would however like to try one out for comparison. Just my $.02 worth. Call it a Yamaha but it's a concept bike built in Germany by a Dutch / German design house. Erik Buell designed the engine, as he did the original bike the engine was borrowed from, the Warrior. Rocket |

I'd demand a chain guard be installed before test riding it. If that sucker lets loose you can kiss your right leg goodbye. Well, that's assuming you didn't get anything else caught in it first. |

Neat headlight, I wonder if it would make it to production. On a different note, has anyone seen the Suzuki M109R Cruiser? It looks like a real V-Rod challenge but with more low end torque. |

It's pretty. I see a lot of S2/S3 lines (obviously) in it. It will probably be a very nice bike. If the 520 dry wieght figure is correct I'd say it's a bit porky. However, it could make a nice streetfighter. It's a nice bike. Not original but a nice bike nevertheless. |
