I have a 99 S3T and have a chance of getting a new complete race kit for it. So here is a little info about my bike and riding style. I presently have a Race ECM a Supertrapp tunable disc exhaust K&N air filter ......that's pretty much it for performance. The way I ride is mostly sport-touring/commutting. I won't need the kit to go any faster, I am just curious if the race kit would better performance/daily riding wise. I do like having the lower fairngs on for wind (and looks) and realize that the right side doesn't work with the kit. Just looking for some opinions if it's worth the expense with my approach to riding. If it makes the motor run noticably better then what I what I am running now, I would propably consider it. But if it's just a minor boast - not sure. |

If you already have the race brain, loud pipe, and K&N filter, I wouldn't bother. (though I do love the way the race airfilter looks) |

Gomo, I've got two words for you: Nitrous OXide! I've got a friend whose wife is a dental hygenist, she can get that stuff all day long! Just think of it, you could plumb that laughing gas with a "T" in the line. A few shots for the motor.... a few shots for the rider.... It would make those pesky wheel bearing failures smooth right out! (Message edited by saintly on November 25, 2005) |

With my jugglers hat, perhaps I could try out for the new Joker in the Batman series. By the way, who needs bearings when you're laughing your a$$ off. |
