I went through all of my digital pics ont he computer and all I could find were stuff others have shown and more S3-T Defenders: I swore that at some time I came accross some digital pics of an Enforcer and Peace Keeper, but I sure can't find them now. And, yes, all of the pics I took during the original Battle of Champions were the old print type pictures. Just like Court, my old print type pictures are buried in multiple boxes, but mine only go back about 15 years or so. Sounds like a good 4-day weekend project to me. I'm sure Court's pictures are more detailed with the light mounting, etc. because I seem to remember him having wig-wags on his F-whatever50. 1313 |

There was one around here a few years ago. I'll see if it is still where I saw it last...... |

Well, I did a little digging (not for pictures, yet...) and look what I came up with: My favorite S2 Defender photo (from Hot Bike): Some S3 Defender stuff: I guess this might be where the idea for the dang blue star on the last freebie Buell hat came from... Some M2 Peace Keeper stuff: And, oh yeah, what was the topic again? S1W Enforcer? Sure looks like S1W Enforcer stuff to me: 1313 |

I learned one lesson. . . . after riding the Defender in about 12 states, I was cruising Daytona one day when I crossed the path of a law enforcement fellow who, quite obivously, was having a very bad day. Generally between Rusty Goin and Gary Cravillion (Current Dallas Motors and Former WI State Patrol respectively) we could talk our way out of anything. That was not to happen this particular day. It was non-negotiable. I was inpersonating and officer. Among my photos are the S-2 I had with the red and blue lights (front and rear) and the DEFENDER badging all covered with duct tape. I'll try to dig about and see if I can get some more into. I seem to recall about 7 rolls of 36 shot at the ROC and I knew I shot some when the Dan's were building the bikes. In terms of "archeivable documentation". . . I'd think that a long shot. The bikes were pretty much built as a novelty and never seriously marketed for law enforcement use. |

I'd be cool to see pictures of the Enforcers. I've wanted to see where the factory mounted the strobes and power units, radios and (if installed) radar. Anyone know if they used a different stator to power all that? |

There was no different stator. There were no radios. Power consumption (this is a "typical" Whelen unit) Power Consumption: 1.7 Amps @ 14 volts DC |

Some Defender and S1W Enforcer stuff that I've come across. Maybe after reviewing these pics Court will realize that he probably has much better pics... For some reason I find this shot of an S3-T Police bike, used in a Georgia town that I can never remember, intriguing... However I think the complete picture can tell more of a story. These were taken at Road Atlanta. From the Buell Battle Of Champions (held in conjunction with the H-D 95th anniversary and H.O.G. 15th anniversary), here is a line up of a Peace Keeper, Enforcer and Defender: Some of the Battle Of Champions S1W's can be seen in the background of this shot. This was taken at the Homecoming that the service tents were up to perform service work. Zooming in a little you can see the tell-tale Enforcer graphics: Apparently that S1W Enforcer owners intentions were premeditated. From another Homecoming (or it could have been the same one) taken at Uke's old shop was this Enforcer with Twin Tail: So Court, tell me your pics of the Escort Vehicles aren't better than these... 1313 |

Not sure. . . . to be honest they are buried, along with about 10,000, in 3 cases. I remember when we were building them and the guys were having a ball ridnign them about the factory. My bet is, you were move involved in the details than I was. I did shoot 3 rolls of good old fashion film at the ROC (I still have all the leftover goodies as well, whihc I have been slowly distributing) but the photos I took there were more to record the race bikes we built (and later auctioned) and the team, yourself included, that pulled it off. They were some of the better pics I got of you, TA, DL, DR,, DM et el in one place. It wa also the day, as I recall, Erik was presented with the Danstored RW. I have pictures of him crying like a baby. I've NEVER seen him so emotionally moved as the day he saw that bike. |

Here's a (bad) pic of my friend Cozmic Carl's Police M2, here in Austin. He is currently running it with the later, more comfortable M2 tailpiece and an aftermarket screen, but he still has the original parts as well (comfort is important as Carl rides A LOT. He has 5 Buells and no car! He's certainly Buellerthanme!). You can just barely see the graphic on the front fender and he went ahead and drilled the new tailpiece so he could mount the blue side lights from the original. Sorry, I don't have any pics of it when it was stock.
