Back off and no one will get hurt! What you have there is a bidding war with two bidders. And at least one of the bidders has name that connotates a female gender. I'm not trying to be sexist, but I'm thinking that hell hath no fury like a woman shopper intent on getting what she wants. Jack |

That is a shame. I've contacted the high bidder to inform them of the original price. Some people really don't know any better. But I certainly do agree that "hell hath no fury like a woman shopper intent on getting what she wants." |

Well, you can't get them for free anymore so I say bid away! Just like people do for the bags, promo T-shirts, and other give away stuff. |

She's probably buying them for her Buell-owning guy. One of you will get it for Christmas! |

Put them on ebay and find out? Back during the 20th reunion there was a battle trax day at Uke's. While I was inside I saw a container of Buell patches that were discounted to something like $2.00 a patch. I see those same ones selling on ebay for $5.00 - $20.00 each now... |

Something's quite odd with that auction. Looks like the person speent several days biddign against themselves. Interesting history of purchases also, rangin from XS leathers, pistons fake handbags and an ironing board. Part of the "showcase the world's diversity" campaign. . . no doubt. |

"Something's quite odd with that auction. Looks like the person speent several days biddign against themselves." Not odd at all. Arrange the bids chronologically. One of the early bidders bid a $100 proxy bid and the one that made bid after bid was trying to the find an amount that would top it. On proxy bids you put up an amount of money. Then eBay basically holds your money and counters new bids by one increment as long as the money holds out. "I've contacted the high bidder..." Might not be a good idea, if your name comes up in discussion between the two bidders you'll wind up with two enemies. It's hard to keep quiet sometimes though. And believe it or not, that is actually against the "rules" at eBay. Anything that reduces eBay profits is against the rules. Jack |

They may have been free at one time, but to someone who needs new knee pucks and especially wants the Buell monikered ones, I can see them paying some money for 'em. |

Buellgirlie, I bagged a bunch of them up in Vegas (Sunny was on the track at Femmoto) and passed them out at our next race weekend down here at Willow Springs. (We gotta figure out how to get the color extruded into the pucks so it doesn't wear off so quick!) |

Anyone wanna buy some Buell knee pucks... Ya know Glitch, you could get a pretty penny for those. A used set shows up on ebay every few months for posers to bid on - and they do... |
