I hardly ever see them for sale, I guess for good reason, because of the rarety. If they ARE for sale, are they gonna be priced like they are priced in N.A.D.A. or higher? Are they even street legal? Have I mentioned that I want one? |

That is the RR1200 I about trashed doing a spectacular exit from the old Uke's parking lot! I am still ticked I passed on one for $5,000 being offered by a bank after being repossesed. They had no idea what they had. That was in the days when Buells weren't even listed. . . I still recall my lecture...."look, it's either got to be a Bricklin or a Buick...there is NO BUELL" |

I know where you can get the very first as in the prototype RR1000. Johnny Mckosh has it.Quite alot of history in that bike that doesn't appear in the other RR's. |

Yep they have listed it on Ebay once or twice.I'd rather have Johnny's 1000 though.Lots of history in that bike and why things are different on the other 1000's and 1200's.Check that seat out...its brown and cloth thats a story all by itself.LOL |

Think he would donate it to The American Thunderbike Club? That would be the only way IO could afford it, especially for those prices |

That RR looks like something out of an H.G. Wells book. What a phenomenal machine. |

So Hal's went from $18k to $25k on #8 of 9? I haven't been down to their shop in months, I'll have to wander down there this month. |

Mike, and they finally have a demo Uly you could ride |

Nah, I'll pass on the Uly demo ride, decided it wasn't for me. Besides I can't comfortably reach the dang ground on one, so double-no. Oh well. Now if they'd bring the RR down from it's perch and freshen up the tires and make that available for a demo ride I'd head down there in about 32 seconds. Still can't afford it, but I'd surely welcome a demo ride on it. |

Mike, for some odd reason, I don't think Kirk would get that bike down for a simple demo ride |

Yeah, I know, he wouldn't even pump up the tires on it when it was in the old building's showroom back in 1999 for a simple demo ride. |

There was a race RR1000 sold last month at Bonhams auctioneers in London for around £15000 (US$26250). Apparently it had belonged to an Italian and been raced just twice in it's history. |
