The best custom XB period. Hillbilly-Motors Hellbender. It was even featured in Buells The Naked Truth. Rene |

Dana, that last bike you posted is local. He was at Hals bike show earlier this year. It's beautiful! |

Yeah I know Steve. Its a nice bike for sure. I showed against him about 3 years ago and lost. The motor in my bike wasn't chromed yet or I would of been there right with him. |

lowered look http://www.nallinracing.com/images/marksidwell.jpg I'd like the looks of this buell, but would want to keep some type or rear shocks. (Message edited by ryker77 on November 02, 2005) |

It wouldn't be right to have this thread not include this S1W. It is one of the best I've ever seen for a radical wild card. If I had but one criticism it would be the colour combination. Far too pretty for a mean machine Rocket |

Rocket, you're right. It's a gorgeous machine. But the guy that rides it is, well... . . . . . ...less than gorgeous! But a helluva nice guy, anyway, for a 'strine... rt GO PETE GO!! |

One of my favorite. I've always said if there had been an S2 on the floor I'd have bought one instead of the XB.

Glitch, after what I just wrote in another thread I'm stoked you put my S1W up. Thanks kindly. Wait until you see it next time around. That's an old pic. A very very old pic Frank, wicked looking XB mate. Rocket |

Donn, Good to see the black beast still looking like a show bike. I see you removed the rear hugger. Good call. It looks much more the visceral beast. Hope all is well. |

Donn, does it take an S1 thread to bring you out of the wood work Lovely to know you're still around. Bike's looking mint too!! Glitch I'm struggling myself to remember what I said and in which thread so I'll go look now.................... Ah here it is. It was in the Buell Evo Motor Weight????' thread. Anyway, that post is better suited to this thread so here it is...... What I like a lot about my S1W is amongst other things is it's the absolute perfect bike to showcase your own talents on. My goals to make my S1W extra special have been performance, quality, minimalism, individuality, attention to detail and no gimmicks- in no particular order. For me it works. It's not finished yet but it's close to how I'm gonna finalize it I think. I know there's 100 rwhp and I can squeeze more when I get her on the dyno this winter, but that I've decided is my limit. 88 inches is not the perfect way to go I'm advised. More than 88 would be awesome but it's a dedicated money pit. The side to that particular coin that always attracted me was making a rice rocket killer. When I bought this Buell I'd just turned 37 and I was still romanticizing about being a rebel on an underdog bike. I'm 44 now and I don't feel I have anything to prove LOL. Truth is the 916 has a very addictive power delivery. Can hand it to the opposition and is still not Japanese, and when you own one it makes sense to do 150 mph on it rather than try to make your Buell do likewise, which is a pointless exercise for a Buell when you have a 916. Horses for courses eh. I'd like to think I've got one of the best S1W's in the world and I hope you do too. That gives me a great deal of satisfaction. I'll talk in detail and post pic's when it's finished. Rocket |

Hi guys thanks for the welcome back karma, Old Buellers like me never really go away we just lurk... I love my 98s1w..If you saw it in person, you'd see that it gets driven hard. It's got scores of stone chips from years of regular use. It's more work dog than show dog. |
