Heh now I can understand why some bloke came up to us at a gas station in central IL and said " wow thats a buell, damn!!!!!!! i have never seen one before. just see them on tv1111 " SO sad the place was surrounded by strait roads and cornfields. Not much to see around pioria to ft wayne , esp when your doing it in the rain. (Message edited by mmmi_grad on November 08, 2005) |

Thanks Blake. In this order I tried Beverley, York then Leeds. All show up in a drop down box but when highlighted the box fills with 'undefined'??? I even tried one vowel from Hull, Hell, but that's in Norway Rocket |

Should I put another pin in Irving,TX. since that's where I'm working now? The M2 is at home. I didn't want to have it stolen while parked in a hotel lot. Which of the DFW area dealers have Buell stuff? Butch |

Sean, Put a pin in for you in Beverley. Road Surfer, It's up to you, but if you use the same name, I may overwrite your home pin entry. Post inquiries about local dealers to the Dallas/Forth Worth thread in the Storm Fronts topic. I'm not familiar with the dealerships in the Metroplex. On account of I live 120 miles to the East in Kilgore. |

As our numbers grow, the thing is getting very slow and also only shows the first 100. Gotta click on "Show all markers" at the bottom left of the map to have them all show up. It's kinda clunky. Would be better to have our own version resident here where only bonafide BadWeBrs can join and view the map. |

I don't know why so many of these sites don't understand that it's Guam, USA. Invalid zip code, and no way to get there w/ international. Can you take care of that Blake? Two pins, please. One for me and one for Dewey. He barks at all bikes in general, but i've never seen him bark at a Buell. |

Got the pin in about 2.5 miles from the house, at least it's mostly downhill from the pin to the house. |

Blake, Thanks. In the 80's we raced at Texas World and Oakhill. We always had good experiences. If Katrina had destroyed our house, I think Texas would be on our list. Thanks again, Butch |

Roadsurfr, That post of mine should have said "it may overwrite your home pin entry." I'd never do that to you. Capt, Too cool. A pin on Guam. You are most welcome Rocketman! |

I dunno, where are all the rest of BadWeB? We should have at least a couple thousand. Some folks is apparently shy. Probably a good thing as the utility seems to be seriously bogging down even with just a couple hundred pins. |

Very cool concept, and I look forward to it actually working someday... but with 250+ pins it has bogged totally. What's worse is the way the script hangs my browser until its finished... can't even click on another website until it re-draws the map. Well, it is "beta-ware" isn't it? We just have to wait until Google gets the kinks out of it. Google Maps is great stuff all by itself. |

Wow, that script is a mutha... even when I closed the Frappr page the script apparently kept running in the background somewhere and slowed everything to a crawl. I had to quit Safari and restart it to get things back up to speed... |

great job Blake...It is kind of slow...I had to close it out last night and wait till today. is cool. I would think buell motor company would really use this as a tool. would be cool to be able to segregate different models....see all s2 owners, all m2 owners, xb owners, blast owners, etc.....rex |

Any internet savy types who know how to implement the stick-pin map on a BadWeB specific basis, meaning on our own server and from the city/state/country entries in the user profiles? Bill, Whatcha doing good buddy? |

N. America Stick Pin Map Thanks to all who are participating in this little experiment. I see Frappr has added a new sorting capability for the "member" listing where we can now sort by username, place, or date joined. |

Add your BadWeB username to the map. No email address or any confidential information is required. So no worries. It's really cool to see the map filling up. |

Blake, I think it would be kind cool if we had some data from the frapper. Like state with the most buells, most firebolts, x1s, ect. If its possible/easy. |

I am on there twice now. I registered, so I could move the pin to the right location, but I can't get my original pin out..so, if there's a way to get rid of one, please let me know.. man, I KNOW there are more Florida Buellers out there...I feel so lonely down here in sunny south Florida! |

Angel, I can delete your original pin. Thanks for telling me. So if you join you can provide the actual address. I didn't know that. The Frappr folks are adding new features almost daily. Not sure how I feel about providing that kind of information on a public venue though. That's the main reason I suggest only providing a username. Zeke, If only everyone would fill in their home state in their user-profile. I almost half of BadWeBrs leave it blank. If you are interested, click on the "User List" link at the bottom of the page. I recently activated it for a limited amount of information. Nothing that will compromise any of us. Use it to create a listing of registered users alphabetically by state. Pull it into a spreadsheet and sort and count. |

Hey Blake, I'm up there twice too. Can you delete the pin for Mark Barnaby? 85 Main St. Rowley, MA. I'm also up there as my BadWeb name. Thanks Mark |

Will do! Good call, as mentioned above, I don't recommend listing our pins using our actual full name. |

Blake, Basically when you join, you just nudge your pin to as accurate a spot on the map as you'd like.. there are no actual addresses given..I just put my pin closer to the ocean, where it belongs, rather than the location it originally picked out by just my zip code. |

I tried to check if there was some small obscure island off Africa there, but the map won't enlarge enough..must not have a lot of road to ride on.. lol.. |

It's strange because that entry doesn't have a "shoutout", which is required in order to add yourself to the map. I think I'll delete it. |
