BBC Radio 2 last night aired a program on the history of the classic single, Pinball Wizard. Very fascinating indeed. You've got less than seven days if you want to listen again via the net. Click the above link and click 'listen again'. You might have to download the BBC radio player. Merry Christmas, and don't ask for anymore presents Rocket |

I saw the Who in 1979. Right after Jones took over for Keith Moon. At that time, my favorite band. |

Thank you. It's so very nice to know these things can build friendships and fun from thousands of miles apart. Glad you liked it. Now I need to find time myself for the 'Watch Tower'. Listening to 'Wizard' was easy. I was driving at the time Rocket |

Rocket, Thanks for the heads up! I just ripped the whole program to a .wmv file. My son is a huge Who fan, I'm going to burn it to CD for him and send it to him. He should be back from deployment in a about a month. It will be waiting for him when he hits land again.. There is a TON of good stuff on that web site. I'm going to spend a bit of time there.... Fasted, Yeah that was about 2 cents worth...Kenny Jones did anything Moon did and did so without frustrating Ox, Townsend, and Roger with chronically stupid and destructive behavior. |
