I am interested in seeing some custom Buells that still look like a Buell, not some softtail or rigid chopper. I am looking for insperation. I like the look of euro-built vrods. Can someone post some links or pics of some bikes they have seen or built? Tube frames preferred. |

The inner fender has aluminium strips shaped like a spider web, XB heads an pistons, all silver motor, all aluminium is polished. It also used to be a 2000 M2 and now has been retroed to a S1... |

Here's a cool one that's on eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4585766666 I wouldn't have thought to put those colors together, but seeing it on a bike, I have to say I like it. - Matt |

Jim (VR1203), You Buell cum VR Race Replica is gorgeous. The blue pipes are a perfect and evoke images of a very famous innovative racing machine. Ever consider putting a ZTL front wheel/brake on it? Matt (Trojan), Larger photos please! |

Thanks Blake, the orange does not reproduce digitally very well.It is very bright/florescent. I was in Daytona in '95(?) And a Britten was there, one breath taking machine! I like old school big-ash brake cast iron discs and the way my wheels turned out ,there is something about big hollow spoke cast wheels in gloss black with orange stripes! I know the ZTL'ers are better, but this bike was always a shoe-string budget project. I would have liked to do a single sided swingarm and dual discs, but they were too much money and were too heavy. By the way it is very powerful now and although I did not reach my goal of reproducing the VR1000's HP's ,I'm pretty happy with it. |

I saw that you are selling a turbo and was horified for a minute that you had dismantled her. Glad to learn that isn't the case. If you have a dyno chart for the final state of tune, I'd sure like to see it. The way you routed the turbo out of sight is appealing to me. Does the extra length of the runners contribute to any significant lag? |

Wonder if he has a callis on his butt from kicking himself so many times? 20 years from now, Tube frame Buells will still be much cooler to own then XB's. |
