It looks like this will be my last post on badweb for the near future. The great news is I am starting a new job with a company that produces high performance parts for Harleys and Buells. The owner is a huge Buell fanatic and holds multiple land speed records at Bonneville. Unfortunately the company is NRHS and Aaron and Blake are not seeing eye to eye causing Aaron to pull his sponsorship of Badweb. Because of this I too will be absent from badweb. So I hope to see many of you out there on your Buells and I am going to try to be at Homecoming again this year. |

I wish you well in your new adventure, but why would where you work preclude you from participating here as an individual? I've always believed that what I do in my personal life is separate from what I do in my work life (even though that division line is very gray at times), and if some employer were to try and force me to live a certain way or purchase a certain product or not participate in something that I enjoy then that is probably not the place I'd want to work. When I go to the Harley factories in this area I always see non-Harley-Davidson bikes in the employee parking area. I don't know if your decision is a personal one or not, your option, hate to see you depart the site here, but it's your life and your decision and I wish you well in your new direction of life. Our paths will cross again, have a good ride. MikeJ. |

Mike, Its a personal choice not dictated by Aaron. I am doing it out of respect. See you out there and other boards. |

Thanks for the reply, good to know. You're probably about to get real busy while the rest of us go into winter mode. I've been playing a bit on the xlforum.net site some lately, or was until the recent yo-yo with ownership transfer of an XL, will probably check in there from time to time, and I see your new supervisor is there a bit as well. Enjoy the ride, and post some dyno-sheets someplace as your bikes get modified like I'm certain they will to some extent. Always remember, stay between the ditches, unless you have to go to the bathroom then jump them hard and fast. |

Dan, Congratulations! I'm so jealous, you wouldn't believe it. I plan on doing a lot more business with NRHS (I use their billet stuff now) and look forward to meeting you in person in the future. I hope this is the dream job it sounds like. Oh, and thanks again for selling me the fork brace for my M2! |

Thank you Blake, I am hoping that Aaron, you and myself can one day work out the differences we are having. At one time we all were on the same page and loving life. Maybe Team Elves can be what it once was again? |

Dan; I'm confused. You obviously love Buells as much as the rest of us ( maybe more,by the looks of your "stable" ). I know Aaron and Blake have had a parting of the ways, which IMHO was totally unnecessary, given Blake's attempts at reconciliation; and Aaron's input now is sorely missed. What does "respect" have to do with not posting on a place you obviously enjoy, regarding a subject you obviously care about, with people who feel the same way? I "respect" Packer fans, but d@mn if I'm gonna root for the Packers just because I'm hangin' out with them. Suit yourself, I guess. Maybe you can talk Aaron into reconsidering and yourself along with him! |

>>>Maybe Team Elves can be what it once was again? I think TEAM ELVES is doing quite well and I also think there are some HUGE things in the works. Face it, TEAM ELVES has changed the world of Buell owners more than any single thing I've seen over the past 20 years. Congratulations on the new job. I hope you have as much fun as Aaron and I are with the current project he is working on. Enjoy Colorado and I'll look forward to seeing you out there soon. I see no reason why you can't participate in these discussions. Best of luck, Court |

Cool! I plan on moving to Colorado Springs some day and it would be great to meet you and have certain bikes worked over by the pro's at NHRS. The riding in Colorado is great, and if it wasn't for snow it would be a perfect state - ahh well - during the winter months I could do some project wrenching - or something to keep busy. Congrats on the gig! GT - JBOTDS! EZ |
