Chase, Fairing is three piece from Airtech and Trojan got it right, they are for a Suzuki RF900. Ryker, heres front end picture below. Also picture of dash with head temp. guage and 8 inch cooling fan on left side under gas tank. I will try and draw a picture of mounting points and post. They are however four points for front fairing, two up high and two low and four points on each side fairing, two high and two low. I used tubing insulators from McMaster-Carr which attach very rigidly to frame tubes and 1\2 inch by about 3 inch tubing to connect to fairing with rubber biscuits for vibration. Oldog, please explain what you mean. Koz, not a bad idea, thanks for the input. (Message edited by bob_thompson on November 16, 2005) (Message edited by glitch on November 16, 2005) |

Bob, Can you put an "enter" between your pictures? That way you only have to scroll vertically. BTW, that looks very nice! Brad |

A couple pics of my M2 before I put a Firebolt fairing on it. I'll post updated pics when I get it about right.

Old, yes there is enough room behind the fairing but I didn't want to cut a hole unless I used the stock Suzuki headlamp assembly and that was out of the question because of price and more so availability. Now I have three 55watt halogen lights for nighttime canyon running. Thanks all for the kind words. |

Bob, how did you wire in the temp gauge, where did you get it at, and is it weather proof? |

Ryan, I'm using a Cyberdyne amplifier temp. guage good to 300 degrees. Wiring uses a sending unit bolted to rear head. Small tab with hole about 1"x1\2"x1\8" thick bolted to rear head boss. Wiring is 12v hot, ground, light feed and two wires from sender. Weatherproof is yet to be tested by me but unit is all digital. We'll see. Its under the fairing though so pretty much out of weather and I try and not ride in the rain. I got it from J.C. Whitney. P.S. I think this is the only sure way to monitor engine temp accurately before the ignition interupt takes place. Bob |

The Vortex has Bike Night every Thursday. There have been plenty of times where we have 20 or so Buellers. Very Buell friendly place to meet. Ya'll come on down! |

http://www.nvo.com/crossroads/nss-folder/pictures/custom_buell.jpg If only that bike had some type of rear suspension. If the choppa guy saw that bike then they might not part out a buell when they could get the same effect for about 500.00 |
