About 20 plus years behind honda and Kawasaki, they built inline 6 cylinders in the early 80's |

It's the original muth katanah, updated a bit...same vinyl seat extensions, same flash gordon flyscreen.... brilliant and balanced, artistically. i'm actually impressed. |

Another engineering exercise in self-indulgence. It almost has a Honda Nighthawk feel to it. |

I wonder what that would do with a turbo on it. |

To me it looks like a standard from the mid-seventies but with a proto-type flair. A sort of KZ meets Flash Gordon feel. |

That fairing is almost identical to the original Katana fairing, early 80's I believe. I like it myself. |

Nice swoopy lines from the side. I like it. Doesn't fit my real-world riding, so I wouldn't buy it, though. |

Is the engine a mockup? The headers don't seem to line up right. ME = WRONG http://www.gizmag.com/go/4770/gallery/ looks real afterall. (Message edited by natexlh1000 on October 30, 2005) |

The six chrome pipes in front look like the grill of a '49 Merc. |

Dorky front fender makes it look like a police bike. I like the headlight/windscreen though. The tank/seat placement look all wrong. Location of pipes is GOOD! |

Can you imagine how much FUN it would be to gap the valves? You'd need to take vacation time! |

"Can you imagine how much FUN it would be to gap the valves? You'd need to take vacation time!" I think on the old CBX sixes you had to yank the engine out for a valve servicing. How fast can you make a hydralic lifter go before it ruins your life? |

Why not one pipe for each exhaust valve? The third graders love that kind of thing. The more pipes the better! |

I was wondering why they stopped at 6 cylinders. Why not a 1100cc inline 12? |

No worries! The Moto Czyz dude is probably fixin to hack that IL6 n-gine in two and transform it into a V6 MotoGP bike that will set the world on fire with all manner of new technology. Just one clarification... it will unfortunately never see the grid of a MotoGP race. Sorry for the smart arsedness; I'm feeling a bit cynical; must be chaneling Dyna. |
