I am writing a paper to get out of a comp. class and the subject I chose was Erik Buell. I am pretty savvy on the history, story etc.. But the things I need are resources for the paper to be considered. So if anyone here owns a scanner and can send me scanned copies of articles etc regarding the history of Erik Buell and Buell mo co it would be greatly appreciated. All I need is the article, the mag or book it was published in (volume or issue number of a mag) and date. Thanks in advance, Spidey slimspidey@gmail.com |

Good read. I'm guessing it was written around 1999. It's fun to read what Erik had to say about the future of Buell Motorcycles back then, when only he and his small teams knew the full extent of what was coming, and now, seeing what the line has developed into. You were right Erik Very cool indeed! Timbo |

Good article but it has some errors. After Buell made the RR1000 from the XR1000 engine, he went to a 1200 EVO in the RR1200 not the RS1200. DAve |

1200 EVO. Just the progression was RR1000 to RR1200 to RS1200 The XR1000 was a pretty cool machine. I used to get told I had one heck of a modified Sportster with the exhaust ports and carbs on the wrong side DAve |
