It depends... Two stripes down the middle... Le Mans Stripes. One wide with one very thin to the left... Daytona Stripes Any number of stripes originating from the top of the front left wheel well at a 45 degree angle... Championship stripes (usually seen gold on red from Ferrari). Two stripes with a good distance between them (like you would see on a cooper mini)... Euro GT stripes One wide stripe with a pinstripe right next to it on both sides (like the old Gulf GT40)... American GT stripes One stripe not centered (usually on the right side)... Looks cool  . | ||

off set, this is the style erik used when he released the racing stripe x1, i'm surprised nobody posted any pics of those, that's the classic buell factory stripe although i think the new factory stripes are centered, i'll see if i can find some pics.  | ||

the millenium edition was evidently two equal stripes, and the new magnesium is the daytona style. the x1 racing stripe model came in blue too, i think they limited production to 800 units. | ||
