I believe "Ben" is son of (as in David Ben Gurion, spelling highly suspect) |

don't sweat the spelling, you're not typing in hebrew, so all bets are off. |

remember superman's parents' names? kal-el, jal-el, just like krypton's airline, el-al, or, in other sci-fi vehicles, obi wan kenobe or t'pau. clearly, hebrew is the interplanetary tongue. |

Naw, you're thinking of Juicy Lucy and her Trained Gila Monster. I think she left Clark Kent for Cheech and Chong back in the early seventies. |

I had to go look that one up, never seen it around here. From http://www.nyanko.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/chamb/drawn.html
quote:Captain Kremmen Short animated segments which formed part of the Kenny Everett Video Show. They concern the adventures of the eponymous space captain (played by Everett, in case you couldn't tell from the picture) and his busty cadet Carla, who fight to protect the Universe from the Krells (a type of evil alien blancmange). This was definitely NOT one for the kiddies! Did you know? Captain Kremmen started life as part of Kenny's popular radio show.

Wow... thank you all. So, "Ben" could be used as "child of"? Would "ben" work if you were referring to a female? Anyone know "Born of"? What I'm really trying to say is "Born of the Northern Reaches" or "Child of the Northern Reaches". I have the latter part taken care of with "Tsaphon". |
