AKA oversteer. Apparently getting the tail out for fun took over as a competitive sport in Japan and has now found it's way into the rest of the world. This appears to be the stunting of the automotive world. The reality is that sliding around sideways in a car is way fun . . . I'm just not sure how you "win" in a drift competition. Oh well, whatever it takes to restore RWD to it's rightful place in the sports-car market is good by me. For what it's worth, I thought getting out of the car while it's turning donuts was a pretty cool stunt . . . I just think that watching out for the car circling around him would have been a little higher on his priority list. Mike L. |

I wonder if he was worried about being burnt by the exhaust. That's a helluva way to fix a stuck throttle. |

Sheesh. Proof that Japan has rednecks too. Almost makes you wonder what might be the Japanese words for "Hey y'all, watch this!" I think you "win" by doing the gnarliest donuts, sorta like "xtreme motocross" or whatever they call showing off on dirt bikes. |
