Monsieur Grumpee', If you would like a PDF of the instructions, with part numbers, for installing a Mikuni 42 (Screaming Eagle version) onto an XL motor, I can e-mail one to you (Badweb won't let me post it here; says it's too big). It has instructions and diagrams for attaching Buell air cleaners as well. Parts # 27756-98 (adaptor) and # 27754-98 (O-ring) are probably what you need. They are sold separately for $16.95 and $1.75 (U.S. dollars) at your local H-D/Buell shop (is there a shop "local" to you?). Hope this helps...
