Now I will agree that Billys' bike was inded cooler! However Billy himself was a whiny, brainfried nugget who contributed very little to the movie other than the continuous "Oh man, Oh man". On the other hand ol' Captain America was chock full of Sage wisdom. In addition he was polite, courteous and an overall respectful fellow (the movie character not Peter Fonda himself). Funny how many "harcore bikers" idolize the character yet overlook the values the character exuded in the movie. To me at least being a biker doesn't automatically mean you have to act like a complete a$$hole. Just my two cent. PS you are still entitled to your opinion however it is, unfortunately still wrong LOL! |

I forget the name of the law but it states that within a certain number of posts on any thread, Nazis and Hitler will be mentioned, no matter what the subject was that started the thread. Whatever that law is called, it has been proven once again here.... |

The Maltese cross is a badge of honor originally worn by the Knights of St. John of the order of Malta who protected the holy land and died defending them. Today it is worn by most firefighter units in the united states because they defend and are willing to die in their duties. I guess the cross stands for someone willing to die to do their duty and honor. So I say again BEAVIS I guess you don't get it do you. You obviously have a couputer, use search for maltes cross and get a history lesson before you run your keyboard. Luvthemtorts! Godwin's Law - "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful. OK let's all review who was the first to - Nazi or Hitler ??? I guess this thread is about over. }} |

Busty, I may be wrong but I thought both the bikes had springer front ends. Anyways, you are right they are both fine looking steeds. What happened to your other profile pic? Everytime I see one of your posts I check out the pic. Imagine my surprise to find the new(unfortunately not improved)photo. |

Busty, My post was'nt an attack on you and am sorry if my example offended you. However to demasculate me by calling me a "housewife" was uncalled for. I realized that when my wife and I decided that it would be me to put my career on hold to raise our child and become the "homemaker" it would make some people uncomfortable. No one has ever belittled me for it though, until now. |

Luvthemtorts, my dear, thank you but Jammer couldn't handle my other pic as I explained earlier. But I will try to dig up something more pleasing. and here was the real deal (with Jack in tow) no springy thingy Jammer, nothing here can possibly make me uncomfortable and Go read it again I didn't "call" you anything. I do still wonder about that chrome image? You guys gotta learn to smile and take it easy, you take yourselves (and your sportbikes) way too seriously. If you're a "biker" you need to loosen up and enjoy the ride. Tense = No Biker (Message edited by Bustybuell on September 23, 2005) (Message edited by Bustybuell on September 23, 2005) |

my bad, i meant motorcyclist, bikers all drive escalades up here here is my definition of biker as it was meant to imply Biker:Adj. a person who feels that only two wheels are necessary for an uplifting experience... |

(Every biker I've met I like, I am starting to not care for motorcyclist's much, too many things to prove) |

ROTF LMAO! if'n yer escalade has a bike rack on the back... and it is holding an XB, it's a glorified trailer. i like bikers too (used to be one twenny years ago), it's just getting harder to find the ones that aren't playing pretend, same goes for "motorcyclists". rtfm |

Next two days I'll be looking at nothing but pavement and trees going by, I might ride up into the BIG trees. Have a good ride this weekend y'all |
