How long did it take to order? I've been waiting almost 8 weeks for mine. The ones I ordered for other bikes were 4-6 weeks,I think CA DMV has slowed way down...John |

Took almost exactly 8 weeks. I have heard it can take up to 16 weeks. |

Torque Minister... good job! or I guess that could be Torque Monster too. Custom plates are fun! |

Let's see, the guessing the personalized plate while sitting brain dead in a traffic jam game: Trick Minister? Tranquility Manages Stress? Turkey Man Sitting Tight? Whoa! Did you see that bike take off?! What the heck was that? It sounded a little like a Harley! Torque Monster, that's it! I remember in the 70's a guy got away with a plate that read "4Q2" and the state was fighting with him to recover it after they realized their mistake (they do screen the applications for obscene and offensive meanings). During the gas crunch in CA in the 70's, you could only buy gas on odd or even days as determined by the last digit on your license plate. Personalized plates were all considered to be even numbered plates for gas purchasing purposes. So some guy got a personalized plate that read "Odd". It was reportedly responsible for several head explosions and near fist fights at gas stations. Jack |

It's very tempting to put a Stealth Plate cover on the bike. Flip a switch and your plate is gone
