It's not all bikes and Buells in my corner of the world. Upland gamebird season opened this morning at sunrise. 05:30 looking east. 46 degrees and clear skies. That would be sunrise. Maddie pointed her first bird of the season about ten minutes after that. This is the look I get when a miss a shot. Can you see the disgust/disappointment in her eyes? We tried a little 300 acre stubble field w/ no succsess. Then moved over to the native grass. No birds but we did see a bachelor band of 4 antelope, jumped a northern harrier and spooked a pair of burrowing owls. And that's about it for the morning. I have a little work today so we were home by 07:30. Saw a few birds, had an awesome little stroll and I'll probabley do the same thing again tomorrow. Rob |

Oh, Rob, you suck! I was supposed to be in Uvalde TX for the early whitewing season this weekend, but I've got a house full of Katrina refugees. Oh, well, there's always quail season... rt |
