Here is the Exhaust Port Gasket Installation Tool I design and 3D printed on FDM 3D printer out of PLA plastic. You can use it too, here is the download link for 3D files

The tool works flawlessly and costs just a few cents for material.

So, print the tool

Prepare exhaust header gaskets, the header nuts and the tool

Put the gasket on the tool

Attach the tool with the gasket to the cylinder head

Attach the nuts to the studs and start snugging the nuts evenly driving the tool with the gasket into the gasket pocket. Do about 1/4-1/2 turn of each nut per time altering between them

Slightly snug the nuts when the tool is at the end of the travel

Remove the tool and inspect the gasket installation.

Looks like a useful tool to prevent the gasket from deforming during installation.

Need one also since I'm going to work on my motorcycle exhaust components soon.

There is a way to install that gasket with exhaust headers flange, but this tool makes it faster and easier.
