It was a beautiful day here yesterday and I needed to go to the dealer to pick up some parts and do a little Christmas shopping while there so I put the bags on the bike. I shot some photos to show them off here too. They are a real solid set up on the bike, even at Interstate speeds. I didn't even know they were back there while on the road.

Cool, just what I am looking for. Can't quite make out the manufactures name on the bags..... does it say Buell? Care to provide some details on how they fit up and price, and where to buy. Cheers bake |

The bags are made by Tour Master. They are their Cortech Series Sport Tail and Saddle Bags. See them here. http://www.tourmaster.com/product.html?sku=82-332 I bought them used off of Ebay. They look new and came with a magnetic tank bag. I turned around sound the tank bag on Ebay and so at the end I only have $100 both the saddle bags and the tail bag. Fit was pretty good. The saddle bags crowd the turn signals just a little but nothing bad. They are real solid on the bike and the tail bag expands on the side for added room. |

I use them on a 9s, I fit the seat bag so the big flat part is against my back. Very nice system and I would recommend it. I also used it on my SV1000N with no problems. |

I forgot to mention I purchased another air cleaner cover and permanenty attached my tank bag to it. No straps to worry about. |

I know this is an old topic but I just got these bags for my 9R and I am trying to figure out the best way to mount them. I will have to put the rear footpeg mounts back on, but what are the best attachment point. My setup seems to sit too far back and bend the turn signals. I only have the saddlebags, btw. Any help would be appreciated. It is hard enough trying to ride to work with all my work gear and these seem like they would do it. |
