Hello. I found my Buell XB12Scg does not have Wire Harness Strap and Guide (number 1 on the picture). I tried to find this part on TwinMotorcycles.com list but have no success. Anyone knows this item part number? Does this Strap use same tree fastener as the main wire harness cowl (number 5 on the picture)? For me according the picture the Strap tree fastener looks smaller than wire harness cowl tree fastener.

The part you have high lighted is C0037.02A8, it is obsolete but there are 8 remaining at Vintage Parts Warehouse, any Harley Davidson dealer can get these. The tree fastener is the same one used on the wire harness. Part number C0033.02A8 |

OMG this part and shipping service cost like it made of gold https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-OEM-Harley-Davidson-S TRAP-REAR-WIRE-HARNESS-C0037-02A8/323775248809?epi d=676993570&hash=item4b628239a9:g:yl8AAOSwY19ajpjn Here is the question. Does Buell XB really need this part? Is there any reason my 2009 Buell XB12 Scg does not have it? |

Alright, it looks like I found some work for 3D printer. ABS, Polycarbonate or Nylon will probably work for this application.

Or if you go to any Harley dealer you can buy one of the remaining 8 for only $6. But yes, abs, poly or nylon would do. Yours is probably missing or sitting on top of your transmission from when ever you yanked on the old vent hose or the tree fasteners became worn out and brittle from the heat and it just fell down. |

Alright I 3D printed the part out of polycarbonate, the part fits well. If you want to 3D print or CNC machine your own mounting strap here is parasolid CAD file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R8lM_v2HPhQApf3oF7nQ3De1ONdkpf9z/view?usp=sharing
