I am working on a '98 S1 White Lightning, and I am trying to resolve some electrical issues. It appears that the S1 Service Manual on this site gives you a hot linked PDF called Intro.pdf. It wouldn't work when opened in my pdf reader. I changed my browser preferences to open the PDF in the browser instead of downloading it, but it still would not work in Chrome. I tried Safari and Firefox, and it wouldn't work in those browsers either. From what I can gather, the only browser that this document will work from is Internet Explorer. It's not available for my operating system. Does anyone know where I can get a readable PDF or high resolution JPG of the wiring diagram that I need? It would really help me in figuring out what is wrong with this machine. Thanks | ||

I have the service manual for that specific bike. I too am in the process of working on one myself. Tell me what pages you are needing and I could try to take a picture of the page you need and see if that would help? Also I found this web site that has a manual you don't need to download. It is for a 1997 but it should work. http://www.motopdf.com then select manual and scroll down and there you will find 1997 S1lightning. Very detailed. | ||

I have never had an issue I even print it as a poster and redneck laminate it with clear packing tape so I can have it next to me in the garage? |
