2009 1125cr, when I corner I have to counter steer to get the bike to lean over and an change in accelerator or brake position will make it try to stand back up. I am literally forcing the bike to corner and it feels like it is trying as hard as possible to go straight. I read some reviews which said that moving the forks up or down in the triple trees made a difference. I put the forks all the way up in the clamps until they were resting on the circlips, then dropped the forks in the clamps until the top of the fork was even with the top of the upper triple tree- no difference. I also read tht reducing the preload in the rear shock would help with this issue. I reduced the preload 3 clics and it improved but is still actively trying to kill me. Tires Michelin Pilot - new Please tel me that these bikes were not designed like this... |

I'm not sure what, but there is something definitely wrong with your suspension setup if it is fighting you and standing up like that. The bike was designed to lean over and stay there just by simply thinking about it. I'd start with resetting the suspension settings to your weight per the manual. |

Double check suspension setting and tire pressures. After that go by the manual to try to sharpen the steering... 1st Add rear preload then 2nd... Etc. |
