Hello everyone my name is Gustavo Woltmann and I am an assistant in a small and private publishers office since 2006. Just want to know from experts around here, what is the motor oil that has the highest quality? How much is it in the market?

Pretty much all of the full synthetics are all very high quality. Mobil 1 VTwin, Amsoil 20w50, Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle 20w50, etc.

The only one that seemed... off... to me was Castrol Syntec full synthetic 20w50. I bought it and used it in my xb9sx for a long time (because it was cheap and full synthetic), but the bike would burn it faster than I preferred (like 1/3 of a quart in 1500 miles or so). The bike ran like a clock for 30k+ miles when I sold it, so I don't think it hurt anything, but I suspect it's viscosity was breaking down.

When I switched to Amsoil 20w50 or Mobil 1 VTwin 20w50 it burned it slower.

But that Castrol has disappeared here in the states anyway.

Amsoil sponsored EBR and Buell racing for some time, so while it may or may not be better than the rest, it isn't worse, and that brand has supported Buell. Mobil 1 VTwin is easier to find (most Walmarts and auto parts stores).

A non synthetic 20w50 would lube just as well as synthetic when new, but is appreciably degraded before 3000 miles, particularly if riding in warm weather. The Synthetic is holding up fine at 3000 or even 5000 miles.
