After riding around away from home, someone told me I have a headlight out. Like the rest of the xb bikes I just blew it off, but it actually is out. I put a new h7 in and it blew out after a few seconds. I have been riding in light rain and my fan has been on most of the time. It's an 06 uly, does anyone know where to look for bad connections or something |

Update: if handlebars are full lock left, the light works. Any other way it is not working. So i would assume my problem is in the big bundle of wires in front of the steering neck, right? |

Yep common weak spot on the 06 Ulys, later years have guards installed to protect the wiring better. Unfortunately the breaks are often internal, so you will need to feel up every wire till you find the culprit. |

Cool. Sounds like a job that will take a few hours. Is there any reason that I can't just wait to fix it when I get home after a few days of riding? |

It might start blowing fuses, but if you have spares and aren't afraid of a little gamble, it would likely be fine. I'd do it if I wanted to ride before I had time to wrench. |
