Hey everyone been a buell fan for years finally got one and did a custom build over the winter with it. Its a 2000 cyclone M2. Now my issue is the previous owner gutted the IDS supertrapp can. I have the one pro series with the turn out end cap so i called supertrapp and ordered the whole inside assembly. I just put it on last night and by all the posts ive read i wanted to try 20 discs and a closed end cap my issue is i can get 20 discs on with end cap and still be able to put the turn out cap back on the end i cant get the core into the muffler any further i believe its bottomed out so what am i missing here i see a lot of people running this many discs and sometimes more but i can right now i have 15 in with closed cap also theirs a threaded hole on the core to fasten it somewhere but i dont see where because if i bolt it down at the exit then i cant put the turn out back right now i just have the core assembly shoved down the can as far as i can go and the turn out on. Im very confused here im out of my element when it comes to these supertrapp mufflers never had one. any help would be greatly apriciated |
