Grenade plate has about .015 shift. Wear plates were at .686 about 20 thousands above worn out. This clutch was about to fail! Good thing sprocket shaft seal started leaking! |

i understand grenade plate is the judder plate/spring but what is meant by ".015 shift" i'm having this weird shudder or studder somewhere in drive train; noticable only when torque wheelieing doesn't happen with bike horizontal during hard acceleration but when bike goes vertical whilst amusing myself with 1st gear roll on wheel stands. the dutch man at tm indicated the coil springs built into the clutch basket might be the culprit others mentioned judder spring/plate(grenade plate) what were your symptoms beside having a leak also again about the .015 shift? help please. thanks. shane |
