Just got my first Buell...an 1125 cr, I got it from the second owner, and he mentioned that it has a Barkers Exhaust. I looked online a little bit and have not seen any exhaust that looks like mine. The pipe looks like a small glass pack that comes up at about a 45* angle...anyone seen one of these before? Don't get me wrong, the bike sounds AMAZING, but just curios... |

What is the can made out of? It is carbon, stainless or aluminum? Barker's didn't make a 45 degree can. D&D, Drummer, FMF and Jardine all made 45 degree glass packs. |

Can you post a picture of it? Sounds like it may be one of the Free Spirits exhausts http://i10.servimg.com/u/f10/11/00/78/49/pot10.jpg |

Upload the photo to a host site and hot link by using imagelink{your link here} and add a backslash before imagelink. Facebook is capable of hotlinking to. I use it sometimes for this. I have a private album that I link photos from when needed. What browser do you use on your ipad? http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/disc us.cgi?pg=formatting#images |

I've got 0 idea how to add the photos, can't get them off my phone or iPad onto an online storage. Tried to set up a photo bucket but I'm not sure if that did anything... |

Here is a picture of Chris' exhaust. Looks like a glasspack from an auto parts store. Chris is there at least a number stamped somewhere on it? (Message edited by terrys1980 on August 17, 2015) |

I couldn't see anything, but I thought it was odd, especially since it is held on by exhaust clamps like that from autozone, and it looks like it was cut with a hack saw on the ends, one is crooked, and the other looks like it was filed down. I can't see the uploaded photo, is it because I'm using Safari on my iPad? |

That is not any exhaust I have ever seen before, likely something home made. |

Chris least you got some pictures up. Definitely taken with a apple product hence the 90° offset... |

So now that it's pretty certainly home made, next question: I have the alleged EBR Race Ecu for it, does this work with any exhaust, or only certain ones? |

Although not optimal, yes the ECU will help keep the AFR in check. Hopefully the PO asked before buying the ECU and it was for a glasspack, not a chambered can. |

Of course all the ECU says is Race use Only, and the bike did run better when it was on, rather than the stock one...I figured I couldn't go wrong with a 9k bike from the second owner, who was given all the receipts for the original purchase and such....Guess i just have to muddle through and figure everything out now..almost starting to wonder if the original owner took the exhaust off and sold it, and told the second guy it was a Barker, cause the guy I got it from was not a sport bike guy |

The ECU is probably programmed for a Barker's exhaust, that could be why he was saying that. |
