Apparently the actuator of the push pull cable to the butterfly has broken. Kind of just flops around. Not being all that mechanically inclined and finically not able to pay the dealer their going rate. What is the best way to R&R the body. can the piece that goes into the body be fixed. Does anybody have a Tbody they want to sell or dso I have to mortgage my house to the dealer? Aand if I do get a new T-Body, do I have to reset the computer? |

Yea the reason I asked for a picture is that I know Harley does not sell components of the throttle body, you basically have to buy the entire unit. Some parts can be fixed via aftermarket parts, so depending on what exactly is broken we can advise on the best economical repair. |

My FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL and PARTS BOOK show that piece you are indicating to be held on to the throttle shaft by a "NUT" !!! You will have to take the throttle body off to put a "NUT" on the shaft ... |

"My friendly ($$$) dealer quoted me $586 for the T-Body part only" Yikes! . This was the closest I could find to a rape emoticon. |
