In Reference to: Duel headlight connector mods Can any one furnish info on who was manufacture of the connector and or who makes the proper removal tool? I tried the suggested methods and got two wires free, unable to get the yellow one out of the connector, to do the position swap. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/599673.html?1273616895 |

It is an AMP Multilock connector. Here is what you are trying to unlatch (picture found online): http://s7.photobucket.com/user/lostplanet/media/AM Pmultilock_zps6c4a21db.png.html The "official" tool is a Snap-On TT600-3. I found a picture online for your reference. The blade on the far right is the TT600-3: http://s7.photobucket.com/user/lostplanet/media/we dgeprobetT600.jpg.html Some other info about the blade on the tool that I found online: - 15 mm long - 1 mm thick - 1 mm wide at the narrow end - 3.4 mm wide at the wide end |

You're welcome and good luck! Seems like an interesting mod to try. |

Do you guys think this mod could possibly damage the bikeīs electrical system/circuit? I mean, could an extra headlight running together with the low beam cause the system to overload? I am really looking forward to doing this to my Uly but not sure if itīs safe. |

It could possibly hurt the reflectors, headlight wiring, or switch, but it actually puts less strain on the voltage regulator and stator. |
