Hey guys. I am new to Buell. I bought a 1999 X-1 with 10,000 miles. The only mod is a Vance & Hines muffler. It is running great, but intermittently when I try to start it, I flip the kill switch and the red light does not come on (OR sometimes the light faintly comes on and appears to be flickering) and I don't hear the injection priming. I can attempt to start it (which doesn't work) and flip the kill switch a while and eventually the light comes on. I put a new battery in it yesterday and still have the issue. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just had a similar problem. Mine was the ignition $120 from hd but they told me they can't code it to your bike. You can get an aftermarket one from Americansportbike.com for $30. After I replaced mine it started like it was new.
