XB12X I have one of those "back off" led brake lights. i need to wire it to ground and brake light. Under the seat, near the battery there is a plug with wires that run to the tail. In the pic is where I have showed these wires entering another plug that I assume runs to the tail light. I'm guessing black is ground, but need to know about the red & green. One should be running light & one is the brake light. Anyone know which is which? I don't have a tester handy, so anyone who can give me a definite answer will be a great help. I just need to know which ones to splice into. Thanks!

Take a bulb out and tape a couple wires to it and use that as the tester. |

Well that is not the tail light plug, that's the BAS. The tail light has a smaller square white plug. I don't know the wire colors off hand, but the service manual has the details. |
