Towards the end of the season last year, my 08XT started idling rough when cold. It almost sounds the one cylinder is cutting out. Once t warms up, it idles and runs fine. I installed new plug magnecore wires and iridium plugs. No change. I removed the ICA and cleaned the throttle body and idle circuit. No change. The IAC actuator extended and retracts fine. I purchased a new head temperature sensor and a new inlet temperature sensor. I have not had a chance to swap them out yet. Anybody have any thoughts about it? Intake leaks have been mentioned but I thought it would get worse when hot. Currently it runs fine once warm. I forgot to mention that it idles fine when first started. As it starts to warm up the rough idle starts. I can hold the throttle at the high idle speed for a minuet or two, then it will idle normaly. (Message edited by Nobuell on February 24, 2013) |
