looking to boost my cyclone. as with everything else on a buell, i cant find any info on FI for them. i know there are guys on here, im just looking to get a parts list togather and somewhat of an idea of what to do and not to do. i was looking at a stock WRX turbo as they are cheap and easy with a stock wastegate set at 7psi. so if anybody can shoot some ideas or oppions my way that would be great. just trying to get my ducks in a row and maybe look at cost. thank you! bike as it sits makes 87hp/83ft.lbs | ||

your bike does not have FI, It is a carburated engine. Carbs and turbos do not play very well together so i would recommend against it. | ||

by FI i meant Forced Induction....i know it isnt fuel injected. i really thought about a blow through setup, just poking around seeing if anybody had any experience with it. | ||

I know it's an older post. 'They' make specific turbos for carbs for cars, unsure about bikes. Alternatively, you can make an air tight carb box so there's pressure on the complete carb, rather than just the inside (without a special carb, it would just blow fuel out of the vents and all). |
