Is it OK to use the HD synthetic oil in the crankcase and transmission? I think it is, I just want to be sure! |

Yes it is and you'll like the way it shifts better. Runs cooler too! |

I just switched to Syn3 20-50 in the engine and tranny and haven't noticed any diff whatsoever. I changed oil to H-D 20-50 at 35 miles and changed to Syn3 at 1100 miles. It's only been a week so I'll see how it does over time. My fan comes on just as often as before but it has been around 105 to 107 heat index here in LA (lower Alabama) over the past week or so. Getting TPS reset tomorrow and 1000 mile service will be complete. |

Put SYN3 in gearbox @ 1000, noticed big diference. Shiftin much smoother, been 1500 miles since (12) |

Deer, your can went on its way today. Should be there next week. ...I use Mobil 1 75W90 synth in my gearbox and it was a noticeable difference for the better. |
