My dyno guys hooked up my '08 Uly to the computer to check programing compatibility. They said their EcmSpy brought up some info but the addresses were jumbled. I was told that when my service dept offered a free re-flash to correct for a (non-existent)rough idle condition, it scrambled things so EcmSpy won't work. Do I have any other programmable options short of the $750 EBR one? Will TunerPro get me in? What's my next step? thanks mike |

The old version of ECMspy is not fully compatible with the 08+ bikes, so you will need either the newer ECMspy (not free), or TunerPro (free). You can also get the preprogrammed EBR ECM for $305, which will work great if you have a matching exhaust, and may be cheaper than a couple hours of dyno time. |

Thanks Froggy, I spoke with the EBR folks a while back and they didn't have any preprogrammed ecm's that would suit my engine configuration. So their only option was the full on programmable one. I've visited the Opti and TunerPro site a few times and am not too clear on my options there, so I've Emailed Mike at Optiinside for some more help. I don't have an issue with buying/donating for software if there's some out there that will work for me. I'm just a few dollars short for $1000+ of the EBR ecm and the needed dyno time that goes with it. thanks mike |
