Sorry if this is stupid but I'm new to Buell and HD motors. My new-to-me '96 S1 has a Forcewinder XR2 already installed. It's blowing oil all over my leg and the bike so driving to work with work pants is a no-go. I want to install a catch-can but am a little confused about the XR2. It's supposed to already have the breather tube routed back into the intake...I assume that is the small aluminum tube going to the bottom of the XR2? So, my question is...do you remove that when you install a catch can or do you put a "T" in that line and keep it routed into the back of the XR2? If someone has pics of this setup using a XR2 and a catch can I would really appreciate it! |

typically the catch can is installed so you can stop dumping oil splooge back into your intake. It will not hurt you to put in a tee and have both, however it sort of defeats the catch can's purpose. |
