I would like to repaint the air filter cover (breadbox cover) on my 97 S3T and not sure what type of paint works best. Saddlebag inners, rear fender, license plate mount and rear fender all have slightly different colors and textures so at some point I may just paint all of them to match, any suggestions? Thanks for your input.

Either the HD texture black paint used on the cases, or sand it all smooth, then get one of those adjustable canned orange peel texture sprayers at the home repair store and use it as a base coat under black paint with flex additive like the Krylon Fusion.

You bet, some of the body parts are plastic and others fiberglass, I'd prime everything before using the texture just to try and get the best adhesion. Prolly dial the texture all the way back to fine too.

I've used the fusion paint with good results on plastic parts like my chin fairing.
