I got some 2" wrap for my X-1. 2" seems wide to cover the bends smoothly and then there is the sensor on the rear header. If anybody has done this before, perhaps you could comment on the width tape you used and how you got around the sensor issue. Perhaps there is some 1" stuff out there. Or maybe the 2" can be cut a bit around the sensor w/o it fraying but it does not look like it. |

When wrapping and getting close to the O2 sensor, take the wrap underneath the O2 sensor and then past the other side of the sensor with one wrap, wrapping it around the opening and then when underneath again, go back to the side you were wrapping and continue with a wrap, hop to the other side of the sensor and you're home. |

Wish I could picture what you are telling me. Actually, the outlet is right up at where the first to second wrap will be. Man it is close to the flange and the nuts. IS 2" wrap the usual? |

Think of bicycle handlebar tape and how it goes around the brake handle. |

I found 1 inch black wrap at my local auto parts store. |
